About ReversePlay

ReversePlay turns backwards audio into something you can play with: reverse your voice, imitate unfamiliar sounds, uncover the original phrase, or guess a song from a reversed clip.

What ReversePlay Does

Record: Record your voice or import an audio file, compare the original and reversed versions, and download your own recordings. Audio processing happens locally in your browser.
Music: Search for a song, play its preview forwards or backwards, and hide the title while friends try to identify it. Music previews cannot be downloaded.
Challenge: Choose an artist-themed quiz, identify 10 short song previews played backwards, and compare your score, time, and streak with friends.

Content & Copyright

The content on our Challenge pages is created and maintained by us. We write and edit the quiz questions, handpick songs for each artist, and balance each quiz across a range of difficulty levels so it stays challenging from start to finish.

We write our blog posts and guides from hands-on use of ReversePlay and review them when the tools or challenge formats change.

Song metadata and short preview clips are provided through Apple's music services. ReversePlay does not host full songs or offer music downloads. Links to official releases are shown where available, and all music rights remain with their respective owners.
