ReversePlay.org ("we", "our", "the Service") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we handle it.
All audio processing—including recording, reversing, playback, and export—is performed locally in your browser.
We do not:
Your audio remains fully under your control on your device.
We do not collect or store:
When you use the website, we and our service providers may collect limited technical and usage information such as:
We use this information to understand website usage, improve performance and compatibility, measure advertising, and help prevent fraud and abuse. We do not send your audio recordings or imported audio files to Google Analytics, Google AdSense, or other advertising services.
ReversePlay and its service providers use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to save preferences, understand website usage, and support advertising. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies to show personalized or non-personalized ads, subject to your choices and applicable law.
If you choose to rate ReversePlay, we store the star rating, whether the prompt followed an original or reversed audio download or a successful challenge share, and submission timestamps. We use a long-lived anonymous browser cookie to update an existing rating instead of counting repeat submissions as new ratings. The cookie value is cryptographically hashed before it is stored in our ratings database.
Ratings do not include your audio, file names, challenge selections, shared content, email address, or other recording content. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated submissions. Cloudflare may process limited browser, device, and network information for this verification, but ReversePlay does not store raw IP addresses in its ratings database.
Since audio files never leave your device, your content remains private. Technical analytics data, if collected, is protected using industry-standard security measures.
ReversePlay uses Google Analytics to measure how the website is used and Google AdSense to deliver and measure advertising. In providing these services, Google may process information such as your IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, pages visited, and interactions with advertisements.
ReversePlay may provide access to music content through third-party services, including but not limited to the iTunes Search API.
When you use the music reverse feature, music playback and related metadata are provided directly by Apple Music. ReversePlay does not host, store, or distribute any copyrighted music files.
ReversePlay does not collect, store, or process your Apple Music account credentials. All interactions with Apple Music content are subject to Apple’s own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Any data related to music playback (such as track IDs or preview streams) is used solely for providing the reverse audio experience within your browser and is not stored on our servers.
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use after changes indicates your acceptance.
